New Resident Gun Ownership

For those new to the State of Maryland, regulated firearms (handguns and some receivers) are required to be registered with the Maryland State Police within 90 days of establishing residency within the state. The fee is $15 for all your handguns, and AR-15 or AK-47 lower receivers (not complete rifle purchases made out of state). The link for registration is below. Start an initial application, and choose Firearms Services, New Resident Regulated Firearms Registration, then Application from the dropdown boxes.
